Madhyapur Thimi to install solar light in public places

Madhyapur Thimi Municipality is to install solar lights at the historical places, road and corners under its ‘Bright Madhyapur’ programme.

The Municipality has been preparing to install the solar lights at places of historical and archaeological importance, Bal Kumari, Maha Laxmi, Siddikali, Nilbarahi, Divyaswari, Siddi Ganesh, and other famous temples, including on roadsides and corners within this Fiscal Year, said Chief Executive Officer of the Municipality, Mitramani Pokhrel.

Pokhrel said the municipality will manage budget for the programme from internal income of the Municipality, lawmaker’s fund, and various donor agencies. (RSS)
