Cultural journalism training in Thimi

National forum of Newa journalists (Newa Patrakar Rashtriya Daboo – NPRD) Bhaktapur branch has started a training on “cultural journalism” in Thimi. Madhyapur Thimi mayor Madan Sundar Shrestha inaugurated the training in a program in Thimi today. Speaking in the program, Mr. Shrestha informed that the municipality is working on establishing a fund for preserving the intangible cultural heritage of Madhyapur Thimi.

The program was chaired by NPRD-Bhaktapur president Ishwar Raj Khaiju. NPRD president Shree Krishna Maharjan, Bhaktapur Patrakar Mahasangh president Pushkar Budhathoki, Madhyapur Thimi ward 4 president Kumar Shrestha, Madhyapur Thimi ward 6 president Indra Bahadur Prajapati also expressed their views in the program. The training will continue for a week.
