Madhyapur Thimi talent Dikesh Prajapati: A musical comeback

Madhyapur Thimi talent Dikesh Prajapati is coming back with new songs after almost 18 years. Mr. Prajapati has already released two music videos from New York, USA. His folk-pop based latest music video “Ghar Ta Timro Pokhara” is hitting youtube with more than 125K views in just two days of the release. The song is written by Dinesh Subedi and composed by B. B. Anuragee and features renowned artists Eshaan Dhakal, Nandita KC, Jangbu Sherpa, Deepak Shrestha and Friends. Choreographer Dharambir Lama and Editor/Director Om Karmacharya everyone has done a good justice to the music video.

Mr. Prajapati’s earlier music video “Ek Phera” is also very catchy with Lyrics and Music by Binod Shakya. The music video introduces the artists Etna Karki and Pravin Shrestha and DJ Rokesh as a Special Appearance. Editor/Director Surendra Man Singh has put a good effort for the music video.

After these two music videos, Dikesh is busy in recording other songs for his upcoming album which he plans to release in few months. He had released the album “Nilisha” some 18 years ago with Pramod KC. The upcoming album will be with his solo album. Before “Nilisha”, he had released “Muskan” collection album with his friends. During those days he also appeared in different stage programs. He remembers working in a “Highway” band with Pushkar Prajapati and the team performing in Balkumari, Thimi.

Before starting his new beginning in music from New York, Dikesh spent 3 years in Singapore and 8 years in China. He now plans to work more hard in music career from USA with some possible collaborations with music personalities from Nepal and USA.
