5000 accidents, 80 died in 5 years!

There have been 5000 accidents and 80 people have died in accidents in Jadibuti – Suryabinayak 6-lane road during last five years.

According to the data given by the metropolitan traffic superintendent, 106 people had major injury and 1619 had minor injury. Total of 17 people have already died in the current fiscal month of Falgun.

Police said that Chardobato, Shankhadhar Chowk of Madhyapur Thimi and Suryabinayak are the places where majority of the accident occurred. According to the locals, there are more trucks and motorcycles that got through the accidents.

According to police, lack of adequate street lights and the traffic lights, lack of the crossing bridges, high speed driving are main reasons of the accidents.
